Professor Emmanuel R. Goffi is a philosopher of technologies, focusing on ethics and artificial intelligence, and a world-renowned specialist in military ethics, defence and security studies. He cofounded the Global AI Ethics Institute and serves as the Director of the Observatoire Ethique & Intelligence Artificielle of the Institut Sapiens in Paris (France). He is also an instructor and research associate with the Frankfurt Big Data Lab at the Goethe Universität in Frankfurt am Main (Germany), and a research associate at the Center for Defence and Security Studies, University of Manitoba, Winnipeg, Canada.

Dr. Goffi holds a PhD in Politcial Science from Sciences Po Paris-Centre de recherches internationales. He has also served in the French Air Force for 25 years and has been lecturing in several institutions in different countries for 15 years.

Dr. Goffi's current work focuses on the development of artificial intelligence and its ethical dimensions through a multicultural approach.
