University of Texas at Austin

Biography

Dr. Harel Yedidsion is an AI researcher and his work is focused on
multi-agent and multi-robot coordination. He completed his Ph.D. in
Ben Gurion University in Israel where he developed and tested
distributed algorithms for coordination of mobile sensing robots. His
current work lies at the intersection of Autonomous Systems, and
Reinforcement Learning. One of the projects that he is affiliated with is
the Building-Wide Intelligence Project (BWI), which is concerned with
developing autonomous mobile robots for performing various tasks in
office or residential buildings. His research interests include smart
traffic management for autonomous vehicles. In one such project he
developed driving policies for autonomous vehicles to reduce traffic
congestion, and in another project he developed mechanisms for fair
division in autonomous vehicle convoy formation.
